Lemon Poppy Seed Drizzle Cake

I have a thing for afternoon sweets. Once four o’clock rolls around, I’m craving a little cup of coffee with some kind of sweet pastry or cookie. One afternoon, I decided to make this cake of lemon goodness… including tiny poppy seeds, sour zest, and oh so delicious icing made out of lemon juice and powdered sugar. You can find the recipe that I followed here… and, to get the full citrus effect, I recommend using half the amount of butter and sugar… bon appétit!
